La Banchetta srl, operating in the sector of the marketing of precious metals (gold, platinum, palladium, silver, rhodium), declares its commitment to manage and develop its activities with constant attention to, and continuous improvement of, the quality of its services, in respect of Human Rights, Business Ethics, health and safety in the workplace and environmental protection.
Therefore, in the implementation and management of its Organisational System, it has undertaken to adopt the principles of the Responsible Jewellery Council for a responsible management of the company.
The Organisational System, extended to all activities, is based on the commitment that the Management places:
Aware of the social responsibility that companies must meet for a lasting and sustainable growth, the Management applies the management requirements laid down by the Responsible Jewellery Council and undertakes to apply and promote ethics, respect for human rights and social practices in a transparent and responsible manner.
The application of the Responsible Jewellery Council Standard entails a series of commitments identified as:

In particular the company undertakes to:
- conduct its activities with the utmost respect for ethical standards, guaranteeing integrity, transparency and compliance with the laws in force;
- tolerate no form of corruption or money laundering and monitor so that any suspicious practice is reported and countered;
- make the characteristics of its products and services fully and in detail clear.
- ensure the traceability of the metals processed, in order to guarantee the exclusive use of precious metals not coming from illicit sources or from areas of armed conflict financed by the proceeds of the sale of precious metal;
- ensure respect for our supply chain through the direct and constant monitoring of the suppliers involved in the processing;
- spread awareness of the importance of a responsible and carefully managed supply chain.
Human rights
In particular the company undertakes to:
- support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights established by the United Nations;
- not resort to child labour or to any form of forced or compulsory labour;
- guarantee high safety standards in the workplace in accordance with national and international regulations;
- not operate any form of discrimination and not apply degrading treatment, harassment, abuse, coercion or intimidation of any kind;
- respect the legislation in force on employment and ensure its observance;
During the RJC Code of Practices Certification period, no deviations from the Code of Procedure were detected, nor were any at-risk transactions detected in the Supply Chain according to the “OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Cahra”.
The company policy is communicated to all staff, to customers and suppliers and is made available to anyone who requests it.
